Project Overview

2021 - 2022 was a time period where sneaker reselling was a very profitable industry, with AIO automation tools being very popular and profitable. I decided to start working on my own sneaker automation tool, beginning with Footlocker. A working first prototype was done in 2021, complete with a React & Electron UI and Go backend which handled all the purchasing logic and communicated through WebSockets. The backend and UI were completely rewritten in 2022, updating the UI to be more modern and production ready, as well as a much more scalable and optimized backend still in Go, with communication over GRPC. I never decided to release it to the public as the industry began to go downhill, with most of the popular automation tools at the time being no longer existing today. As an AIO tool, it supported bot detection mitigation techniques, as well as circumvention tools such as automatic captcha solving and cache bypassing for an edge in speed for securing desired items. A toolbox section was also created for tools such as creating 'profiles' with addresses that still resolve to the original address, but different enough to circumvent 'limit 1 per customer' restrictions.
